Drill Meet Services
Our Work In Action: An actual excerpt from a virtual Judgesβ Briefing! Feel free to use in any capacity!
Have you ever thought about hosting a drill meet? Do you host one right now?
Consider this...
When your cadets involved in sports go off to their game on Friday, the game is going to be REAL. Officiated by trained referees, constrained by rules developed by professionals in athletics.
When your cadets involved in music go off to their contest on Saturday, the solo/ensemble contest is going to be REAL. Adjudicated by practicing musicians and educators, performing under guidelines developed by professionals in music ed.
When your cadets involved in art send their pieces off to competition, the competition is going to be REAL. Judged by practicing artists using rubrics crafted by actual art educators.
We can't say this strongly enough...
Your ππ½ Drill ππ½ Students ππ½ Deserve ππ½ The ππ½ Same ππ½ Experience
BUT...
JROTC drill meets are graded by well-meaning volunteers (who can ABSOLUTELY do a phenomenal job when properly briefed), tabulated by well-meaning volunteers (who may or may not understand the intricacy of the activity's absurd ways of scoring), and hosted by well-meaning public school teachers (who can ABSOLUTELY do an amazing job when they aren't responsible for every single aspect of our stupidly complex competition schematics).
Your drill students deserve to have their work matter as much as their peers' does when they do their thing.
We're slimming costs as low as humanly possible to partner with schools serious about hosting meets and we want 2024 to be the year we start fixing some of the systemic issues that are killing the activity.
If you care about meaningful competition experiences for your students, we want to partner with you.
